What is education?

Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school. This means education is what you remembered to life an everyday life. Not everything you learn is gonna be used when you get out of school, therefore education is what is left after you forget what was learned in school.

Education..

Education is the most powerful weapon in which you can use to change the world. What does this mean? It means the only way to make anything change is to use knowledge of whats happening. When people use force, they get nowhere at all. Its like fighting fire with fire, all you get is a burnt from a bigger fire created. You have to out smart everyone and that's how you're gonna change the world. Look at many of the men that changed the world, not very many used violence or force. this shows that its possible to change the world with only your education.  

Good to know, Difficult to learn

According to an old Greek proverb," All good things to know are difficult to learn." This is not always true, but on most occasions it is. When you work for something, along the way you will fail and you always learn from failure. If everything that's good to know, was easy to learn, then the world wouldn't have half the problems it has today. Most of the best things to know are gonna have a road to travel, and if you don't travel the road, then that's something you may never know.

Honesty or Lies?

Is it ever okay to lie, or should you always be honest? No lying is never okay, you should always be honest because you will end up in more trouble if you lie than if you just admit the truth. There's a difference between keeping something form someone and lying, but if they ask about it and you deny it, it becomes lying. You will get farther in life by staying true to those you love and trust and be honest.

School Uniforms?

 I believe uniforms are great ideas for younger children not the high school kids. If the younger kids wear uniforms then they are easier to keep together as a group. Your older pupils shouldn't have to wear uniforms in public nor private schools. They should be able to express themselves however they'd like to. They think uniforms will cut back on the bullying but it won't, because they still get judged on the brand of uniform they wear. It's best to just cut out uniforms and let us express ourselves, than to make us wear uniforms that we don't like and still get bullied for.

Disasters & Mistakes

More often than not we make many mistakes and we learn from them. Then there's the disasters that you can t control, you learn from those too. You learn what you can do to help prevent it the next time. 

Hard to Learn

 Normally if its hard to learn, its a good thing to know for later in life. 

Life

 Education is life itself because  even though you finish school, you're not finished learning. We go through lifer everyday and learn something new.  

Asking questions

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Asking someone a question will help you more than trying to figure it out for yourself. Also, you're more likely to get it right if you ask someone else.  

Don't give up

Never say it can't be done or learned, because you can always find a way to do it. Everyone has their own way of learning and yours just might be plan z. 

You Gotta Try

If you put your mind to it, you will get it done. When you decide that you can't go anymore give just a little "umph" and you'll be there. 

Cutting Out Negativities

When you go through life, you will never please everyone. People are going to try to tear you down because they wont to see you give up and crash. What you have to do is be strong and push through to positive things on the other side. 

Keep Going

Everyone wants that sense of belonging, whether its fro a team or just a group of friends. They want someone to be there to support them and be there for them. When they're given up on, they feel like they have no reason to continue doing anything. That single action can change a person's life.  

Be yourself

                 

When you're constantly trying to be better than someone else, you are steadily becoming worse. The way to become better is focusing on yourself, not others. 

Inspiration on Life

                                           

You only have one  life on earth so, you need to live it while you can. If you don't, then your life will be gone tomorrow and you'll have nothing to look back on. 

Memories...

There's always that one picture you have that you'll always remember the day of. I have a picture that bring some back to a very memorable and painful day. I was at an added money barrel race in south Louisiana. I had just gotten a new horse and had a lot of faith in him. He let me down entirely. On our way to be first barrel, he decided to buck. I bucked him out around the first barrel, which is way longer than eight seconds. Then he broke over and turned to the right. I came over his front, left shoulder and when I hit the ground I did a tuck and roll to prevent from hurting myself too bad and curled in a ball. Then i looked up and he was on his way to his stall. So i got up and ran after him. The photographer that was there, took pictures through the whole thing, and we got a pretty good picture out of it! It now sits in a frame in our living room.

Interesting People

I know a person is different from many people but, they don't care. She believes that if someone is going to like her, they have to like her like she is. She doesn't believe in changing herself for someone else. If she wants to be alone, she'll just go out to her own little world. She likes to dress in some weird clothes and doesn't care who sees or where she goes in those clothes. She loves being herself, and thinks that's the only thing that matters in the end.

Best Teacher Ever

I think the most effective teacher I've ever had would have to be Ms. Cuberreaux. She was my second grade teacher and she was almost everyone's favorite. She was always getting us involved in what we were learning and made it fun. We a lot of hands on things and having fun made it easier to learn and remember. She always was kind to us and we loved her. She, honestly, was one of my most liked teachers out of all the teachers I've ever had. The other teachers weren't so fond of me because I wasn't the best behaved kid in school. She made my second grade year one of my best school years.

Space

If I had to choose one one type of professional to be to travel aboard the next space station, I would have to pick a scientist. The reason for this, is that as a scientist I will have a better understanding of how things are going to work as to if I was a doctor, reporter, or actress. This will help me know what I will be doing and why. I will know how things are going to flow because its what I study. Being a scientist would be the best option for me.

Security in Public Schools

In public school, many different types of kids and teens attend that school for a lower cost than a private school. With this comes disputes, arguments and fights. Some kids will go as far as to bring a knife or gun to school, for different reasons. For some its just to scare someone, others its to harm them in some way. This has caused people to employ security guards and security equipment, such as video cameras and metal detectors, into public schools. This is a great idea for high school and junior high, but not elementary. Your older kids are the ones that need to be watched the most. The little ones are ging to be less likely to bring stuff to school. Also that type of environment is not good fro kids to grow up around. It can make them nervous and paranoid, which is not always a good thing. I believe its great for the older kids but not little ones. Its a great start to showing them what real life is like.

I should get the job.

You have selected me for the final round for this position as Division Controller. I will be the best choice because I work hard to get my work in on time. I stay alert to what I'm doing so that I will make few to no mistakes.  I am great when it comes to working with others because I believe, in order to have a good, or even great staff, is to get along the best you can. All employees should be able to communicate with each other with out any disputes. I am the one for this job and you will soon see that if you choose me to fill this position.

Promoting violence

When television plays the shows that have violence, people believe it has a negative effect on society. Not everyone believes that but many people do. I believe we have the choice to watch it or to not watch it. If an individual chooses to watch those types of shows, they can do so. Its up to you as to what you watch or don't watch.

New to Computers?

So these days, majority of things done are on the Internet or through a computer. It is best to get familiar with a computer to help you understand today's technology. You may think you don't need a computer and the Internet, but in all honesty, you do. With the help of a computer and Internet, you can communicate with people more often, through emails, skype, and other medias. It would really help you to stay updated on things. Your friends and family can send you photos and flyers of things that are happening, so you can be more involved.

Talking on the Phone & Driving?

Laws have been passed in some states claiming it to be illegal to talk on a hand-held cellular phone while driving. They say it is unsafe and can lead to accidents and wrecks. I think that the law should not be passed in other states because the phone is not what causes the wrecks, its the people driving. If they choose to talk on the phone while driving, then they choose to either be more cautious or less cautious because they're on the phone. Everything reflects back on the person, not the phone. Therefore it should not be illegal to talk on the phone while driving. If anything it can teach people how to be more aware of their surroundings when they're driving.  

Junk Food

Junk food is not always the healthiest way to go, but it is good. There are few people who don't like junk food. Many people aren't willing to try different kinds, so they stick to what they like. I love Hershey's brand of anything. The reason for loving this brand of junk food is that, I have an obsession with chocolate. When I was younger, I called myself a "chocoholic." We thought it was pretty clever. You should try Hershey's because its chocolate is smooth and its just really good.  

Communicating with Others

In today's time, everyone talks through messages and emails, which has benefits and drawbacks. I have to agree with those who believe it doesn't allow you to develop interpersonal skills and it limits our ability to have meaningful relationships with others. I also believe it makes it easier to communicate when you need to find out information and such.I believe it wont effect our interpersonal skills if we learn to balance between talking in person and through emails and messages.

Habits

Everyone has at least one habit that's harmful to them in someway. It may be harmful physically, emotionally, or financially. You tell yourself that you're going to beak this habit that's harmful, but you never do. It helps to have someone to help you break that habit, if possible. If i was ever needed to help you I would. You have a problem becoming attached to people to easily. Every time you get attached to someone and they leave, you blame it on yourself. When you do that you begin to harm yourself because you feel like there's nothing you can do to keep anyone. The harm you bring on yourself is hurting you not only physically but emotionally too. These are the things that lead to people committing suicide and such. You life is to important and special to give up over the stupidity of others to not realize what's in front of them. You are a unique and special person and you mean a lot to so many people, so don't throw that away. You have one life, so live it. Don't be afraid to let someone help you because it will all be worth it in the end.

Apple provides the world with many products one of which is the iPhone. The first iPhone was released in 2007, and has gone through several versions. It all started with the iPhone 1 and remains at the 6 plus for now. All these different types of iPhones have many similar features and few differences. When it comes down to it, people are going to buy what they want or what they can afford. The most popular of them all are the 6, 6 plus, 5s, 5c, and 5. They are all good phones and its just depends on you as to what you get.

Ipad Basics

Apple's ipad and ipad mini are popular tablets that have changed the way we use computers. These tablets allow us to use them in place of computers. When looking at ipads, you need to look at the different options available. Such as you can get the wifi model or the cellular model. the wifi model is best fro using when you don't need Internet connection all the time. The cellular model is best for someone who is traveling or is always going and don't have time to stop for wifi.

Android Basics

Android is an operating system for smartphones and tablets. Depending on the age and manufacturer of your device, you may or may not have the most recent version. But how do you know if you have the most recent version or not? First you would go to your settings and find the "About Device/About Phone" and look up the version. What if you want the latest version? Well, the most recent compatible version will be sent to your device automatically whenever there's an update or new release. The only thing you have to do is accept. If you have an older phone or tablet, you may not be able to upgrade to the latest version.

SharePoint Resources

SharePoint is used by many businesses for collaborations and other online tasks. This is used to share things with others to help get out information. It comes in handy when you have many people to share with.

OneDrive & Office Online

 Microsoft Office is an online suite of online applications that lets you create Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and more. You can store the documents  you create on Microsoft OneDrive. OneDrive is an online file storage service. Both of these tools are accessible from anywhere and are free.

Microsoft Account

Microsoft is best known for its popular software packages. Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office are two of those software packages. But now today, Microsoft also provides many free online services you can use to perform various tasks at home or at work. to use such services, including OneDrive or Skype, you'll have to create a Microsoft account. Having a Microsoft account can help you accomplish most everyday computer tasks, much like the Windows operating system. The difference between the two and more traditional productivity suites is that many files and services are stored online rather than on your computer.

Google Tips

Google is more than just a search engine, it can be used for almost anything. You can use it to view maps, plan a road trip, or even tour different places from your home. Then you probably have heard of Google Docs and Google Sheets, but what about Google Forms? Google Forms is a great tool for creating forms of all kind. This includes quizzes, surveys, and questionnaires. You can also use it to make polls, sign up sheets, and evaluations. The only thing needed to get started is a Google account.

Windows 98

This operating system has multi-tasking capabilities, meaning it can run several application at the same time. Multi-tasking allows you to view this blog on the Internet at the same time you use others applications with Windows 98. Windows was one of the earlier versions of Windows.

Windows XP is an operating system that lets you use different types of applications or software. For example, it allows you to use a word processing application to write a letter and a spreadsheet application. Windows XP is a graphical user interface (GUI). It has pictures that you can use to communicate with your computer. This type of system is popular because its logical, fun, and easy to use. 

Windows 8

Windows 8 is the latest version of Microsoft's operating system for PCs and tablets. Windows 8 is a free update for PCs and tablets. it includes a number a new features and design elements that will make Windows 8 easier to use. 

Windows 7

Windows 7 is an operating system released by Microsoft in 2009. It was created as an upgrade from XP or Vista. One upgrade from XP/Vista is in Windows 7 you can view two windows side by side, using the Aero Snap feature. This feature automatically sizes two windows to fit together on the screen. What this does is allow you the convenience of viewing them next to each other. According to costumer feedback, Windows 7 has simplified the PC experience. It simplifies the experience by making many functions easier use.

This is helpful in making it the most popular operating system in the world. Windows makes it possible to complete many different day to day tasks on your computer. You can use windows to check your email, browse the Internet, play games, listen to music, and so much more. Microsoft released the first version of Windows in the mid-1980's. There's been many versions since but the most recent is Windows 8, released in 2012.

Pinterest is a social network where you share and collect things you find on the web. People use Pinterest to share their idea about dress designs or cooking recipes. It's just a way for people to share their ideas with people who might want to try them. When you find something you like and might want to try, you just post it to your pin board, so that you are able to go back later and check it out. to get things from others all you have to do is follow your friends. on Pinterest, they are called pinners, as so are you.

Linkedin

Linkedin is a popular social network. Unlike facebook and instagram that's personal sharing, Linkedin is focused on professional sharing.  That is, building up a group of contacts to help advance your career. Using Linkedin is like doing an online interview without the interview. On your profile page, you can put a brief summary of your skills and jobs and your resume. This gives people an idea of who you are and what you do.

Instagram

Instagram is a photo sharing app that you can share photos on. Many people have an insta account and post a lot on them. A lot of your celebrities have an instagram and share with their fans. Also you must be at least 13 years old to have an instagram account. That means its mostly your teens and young adults that are going to have an instagram. In addition to sharing photos, you can now share videos that do not exceed 15 seconds.

Facebook for Iphone'

When you get the Facebook app on your Iphone, you are able to share more often. Having Facebook on your phone allows you to use messenger so you can message a particular person. Also on you r phone you can check and update more often because you don't need a computer if its on your phone.

Access to Computers

Computers play a big role in today's society, even the children. Some people say that every child in every school should have access to computers. They believe it will benefit the children, while other think it may interfere with the learning process. I believe computers are a helpful tool that should be used as needed, not use it because you have it. Computers are not really a necessity to the average individual, but make life much easier for them. It makes communicating quicker and easier and researching better, because you have access to more sources. The upcoming children are not going to die if the don't have a computer, many people have survived without them so they will too.

Internet Safety for Kids

The Internet is and can be a great place to learn, shop, play games, and talk to your friends. Unfortunately, there are also predators, identity thieves, and others online who may try to harm you and your kids. Many kids are confident that they know how to be safe online. However, there are a few reasons why kids are often more at risk than an adult. They may not always think about the consequences of their actions, which can cause them to share too much information about themselves. Kids also are sometimes specifically targeted by cyberbullies or predators. If you're a parent or guardian, you can help to keep your kids safe by talking to them about their Internet use, teaching them about online dangers, and learning everything they can about the Internet so they can make informed decisions.

Email Basics

No matter which email service you choose, you'll need to learn how to interact with an email interface, including the inbox, the Message pane, and the Compose pane. Computer Basics

A computer is an electronic device that manipulates information, or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process data. Two things all computers have in common, hardware and software. Hardware is any part of your computer that has a physical structure. Software is any set of instructions that tells the hardware what to do. Everything you do on your computer will rely on both hardware and software. You may have heard people using terms like the cloud, cloud computing, or cloud storage. But what exactly is the cloud? Basically, the cloud is the Internet, more specifically, it's all of the things you can access remotely over the Internet. Computers come in shapes and forms and are a huge help.  

Importance of Computers

Computers provide us with the ability to do many things, such as socialize and communicate. Computers are involved in our everyday lives, from work to home, to talking to friends on our phones. We use computers in school to look up information on projects and for different assignments. In my career, I will deal with computers but not a whole lot. The computers I will deal with are for running test on animals. So I know everyone uses some form of computer on a day to day basis, and they have made life much easier. 

What is a blog?

When you think of blog, what comes to mind? Gossip, right? Well a blog is a type of website in which new content is updated regularly. Most of them contain short informational articles that are called blog posts. Many blogs are posted by a group of people who are paid to update the blog several times a day. But, there are also personal blogs, which are posted by an individual. Personal blogs give an individual a place to post thoughts and ideas.  

Introduction

My name is Katelynn Nikole Ross and as of right now I am 15 years old. My birthday is on December 7 also known as Pearl Harbor day. I am a mix of different personalities. I can be serious one minute, and a total goof the next. Not a lot of people find me interesting or normal. But if you were to get to know me, you might fall in love with me.

I am an adventurer, I love to explore new things. Sometimes I’m a coward and other times I’m a daredevil. When I was young I hated heights and rollercoasters, but as I’ve grown older I’ve learned I can’t be scared of life or I will never get anywhere. So at that point, I told myself I was going to be more adventurous and live life to the fullest. Now I love to ride the craziest rollercoasters and go as high as I can.

My hobbies include drawing, barrel racing, hunting and fishing. In barrel racing I’ve gone gone through many horses and my most recent horse is the fastest and our fastest time is a 15.2. His name is Bandit and I love him. When it comes to down time drawing is what mostly fills it. I am very talented at drawing for coming from a non-artistic family. Now for the good stuff, hunting. I love to hunt, especially deer. My biggest deer I ever killed was a 9 point, when I was 11 years old. And fishing, I like to fish but I never have the best luck. The best fish I’ve ever caught was probably about five pounds.

My family is a group of people I love and always will love. There’s my mom whose name is Angela. Then there’s Daddy and his name is Jason. A few years ago my little brother passed away, when he was nine. His name was Jason Paul Ross. I love him with all my heart and I’ll never forget all the memories we’ve ever had. He had so many people who loved him and still do.

My life at times, is not the most thrilling ride ever, and other times it’s the most hectic thing I can possibly think of.
